Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is an organization of people of Telugu origin residing in North America. TANA was formed to preserve and propagate the Telugu cultural heritage and maintain the identity of people of Telugu origin and to provide a forum for Telugu literary, cultural, educational, social, and charitable interactions among its members. Founded in 1977, it is one of the oldest Indo-American national level organizations. TANA, which had its first national conference in 1977, was formally incorporated as a not-for-profit public organization in 1978.
